Quiksilver Skate in PA

5/15/08 We were in the Philly area this morning so we headed over to West Chester for awhile to go chill at Fairman's. Dave Fairman has been running Fairman's skate shop for a long ass time and I've known him since I was a little fella. I actually found out from Dave when we got there that I was supposed to be there for a signing about a month prior that I guess Bam was supposed to tell me about. But Bam has got some A.D.D. and I had no idea. Sorry about that Dave. Anyways we chilled for a good amount of time and hung out with Dave and some kids workin' the shop. It had been a minute since I had been by Fairman's but it was good to see the peoples over there. Tim, Reese, Josh, Nick & Dave Fairman of Fairman\'s Reese hadn't seen Bam in a long time and we were close to his house so we all went by the compound for a it to skate his indoor park and his outdoor park and his outdoor mini ramps. The compound is a straight up playground and I always crack up at some of the ridiculous stuff going on over at his house. We'll have some video so that you can get a small taste of what it looks like over there. Bam was there as well which is rare and we all skated together for a bit and shot the shit until we all had to go our separate ways. I had to drive straight from there to my house in NJ because I had to pack up and fly out the next morning for a Cali mission. This ended my time on the trip but Reese and Andy went on for at least one more day if not more. They held it down and threw high-fives for miles down the eastern coast. Thanks to everyone at all the shops that I hadn't met before and everyone that was super cool. And as always thanks to Quiksilver for being on point and still loving me after all this time. -Tim O'Connor
