Coast to Coast on the Tony Hawk Tour - Entry 1

This morning I dropped my bags off beside the Quik Bus at 8:30 am.  I then proceeded to call Modaddy on his cell.  As soon as he picked up his phone he honked at me from the Quik van as he came screeching to a halt in front of me.  So things are looking up.  So far we are on time. After loading the bus and eating some lunch we were off.  Or at least we thought.  Before we left we did a last minute inspection of the lights on the trailer.  Of course they weren’t working.  So we buzzed over to Ervin automotive right down the street from Quik.  By now it was high noon.  The connector on the trailer was bad.  Or maybe not.  No it’s the connector on the RV.  Nope.  5 hours later and after multiple deliveries from the auto part shop we were in business.  So as you may assume we didn’t miss any traffic.  Smack in the middle of it.  I think traffic on Monday’s might be the worst. Everyone wants to get home. Whether it is to the family or Monday Night Football. They just want to get home no matter whom they piss off.  After we crawled through the traffic we were able to make it to Barstow.  We ate some dinner and hoped into to bed ready for a big day of driving.  See you tomorrow.
