Quiksilver USA Championships Day 5 Photos

Day 5 conditions are the best they had been all week, sun is out, 4-5ft+ sets out of the SW and it pumped! In the U18’s Derek Peters was a lucky boy getting into the semi via Connor Coffins error and showed he deserved to be in the final by going to town on his forehand with impressive carves and fin blows. He finished 4th in the final. U14’s Kanoa Igarashi had a good run but came up a little starved for a good score at the end and posted a 3rd overall. In the U12’s Luke Gordon suffered a slow start that he was never recovered from took 4th while Johhny Mel battle back from the grave to rally a 10pt ride in the dying seconds, made a massive come back for the victory in with panache and style! Kolohe Andino took the U18’s. Roxy’s Tatiana Weston Webb doubled down with back to back victories in the U16 and U18 girls finals. Parker Coffin took the U16 Boys in fine form utilizing solid power mixed with new school flair!
