"I'm very pleased to be here in Jakarta for such a significant event, as the opening of this new office represents Quiksilver's commitment to growth in the South East Asian region. From this office we can better support and expand our retail operations as well as broaden our sourcing capabilities in Indonesia and South East Asia, thereby also extending our global reach and product sourcing abilities," said Healy.
The new office will house PT Quiksilver Indonesia's design, sales, marketing and retail operations management and staff for Java and western Indonesia, as well as Quiksilver Asia Sourcing's Indonesian management and staff. "It's great to see Quiksilver open it's new office in such a prime location in Jakarta. The office represents the ability for the brand to capitalize on the growth of lifestyle fashion in an urban market such as Jakarta. The prime location for the office also signifies that Quiksilver is the true leading player within the region for young adult lifestyle fashion. We are very excited about the added support this will mean in the business we do with the brand within the Indonesian market," said Anil Konidena, COO of PT. Gagan.
