Finn Bilous

Some people choose skiing, but in Finn Bilous’ case, it seems more like skiing chose him. Finn was born and raised in New Zealand’s Southern Alps. His father is a heliski guide and avalanche safety instructor, and his mother and older brother also love to ski. Growing up in a family that loves to surf the mountain incubated Finn’s inherent talent, and a little sibling rivalry with his brother contributed to a love of competition. In 2016, at only 16 years old, Finn brought home two gold medals at the Youth Olympic Games, and he hasn’t looked back since. Flash forward to today, and the young skier is a mainstay on the competition circuit. He represented New Zealand in the 2018 Olympics, has garnered World Cup medals, and competes yearly at X Games. Truly, the sky is the limit for this Kiwi rider, especially as his skiing shines on all terrain. In 2019 and 2020 he clenched back-to-back wins in the North Face Frontier freeride events, further proving his all-around talent and composure under pressure. When he’s not on skis, you can find Finn on a surfboard. Or on a mountain bike. Or running a marathon. Or doing anything and everything that involves the outdoors and an accelerated heart rate.
